Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of MedEQ, including its website, accounts, learning modules, clinical scenarios, audio, reference materials, and related services.
By creating an account or using MedEQ, you agree to these terms. If you use MedEQ on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.
Educational purpose
MedEQ does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or formal medical opinions. Scenarios are fictional and are designed for professional education and practice.
You remain solely responsible for exercising independent professional judgment and consulting current official sources, including FDA-approved prescribing information, before making a clinical decision.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must provide accurate, current information when creating or updating an account.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in credentials and activity under your account.
- Professional credentials, eligibility details, and attestations may be reviewed to support future continuing-education reporting.
- You must notify MedEQ through your pilot or access contact if you believe your account has been compromised.
MVP and continuing-education status
Portfolio demo: this is a demonstration of a former continuing-education platform. No CME or other continuing-education credit is offered.
Credit values, certificates, eligibility indicators, or completion records outside an eligible accredited activity are demonstrations of planned functionality. They are not valid for licensure, certification, credentialing, or other formal reporting.
Acceptable use
You may use MedEQ only for lawful educational and professional-development purposes. You may not:
- enter real patient information, protected health information, or other data that identifies a patient;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to MedEQ, another account, or connected systems;
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or commercially exploit the platform except as permitted in writing;
- interfere with platform security, availability, or the experience of other users; or
- use MedEQ content to misrepresent your credentials, completion status, or eligibility for credit.
Content and intellectual property
MedEQ and its original software, designs, scenarios, educational materials, and branding are owned by MedEQ or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the platform for its intended educational purpose.
Third-party sources and services
MedEQ may reference or link to third-party content, including FDA materials, drug labeling, guidelines, publications, and technology services. Those resources remain subject to their own terms and may change independently. A link or citation does not imply endorsement, and MedEQ is not responsible for third-party availability or content.
Availability and changes
During MVP development, features may be incomplete, changed, suspended, or removed without notice. We may update the platform and these terms as the product, law, accreditation requirements, or operating practices evolve. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, MedEQ is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or clinical applicability.
To the extent permitted by law, MedEQ and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for clinical, professional, licensing, or business decisions made in reliance on the platform.
Suspension, termination, and contact
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform, third parties, or legal and accreditation obligations. Questions about these terms can be directed to the MedEQ team through the same contact channel used for your staging, pilot, or account access.
